OVALO Upholstered Bed – Sculptural Headboard, Three Mounting Heights
OVALO gives the bedroom a distinctive, modern focal point. Its rounded upholstered headboard ends in oval elements finished with decorative piping, while the slim legs keep the silhouette light. The headboard can be mounted at one of three heights, so you can set its position when assembling the bed. The design was awarded a Gold Medal at MTP in 2023.
Choose Your Configuration
Choose a sleeping area of 160 × 200 cm or 180 × 200 cm and a version with or without under-bed storage. Simply choose your preferred colour in the product configurator, and your OVALO bed will be upholstered in the matching fabric.
Headboard Mounting Heights
The headboard can be fitted at one of three mounting heights, giving a total height from the floor of 105 cm, 110 cm or 117 cm. These are assembly positions, not an adjustment mechanism for changing the height while using the bed.
With Storage – STANDARD L53 Metal Frame Included
When you choose the storage version, the price includes the STANDARD L53 metal lift-up bed frame. Its 40 × 30 mm metal profile has an additionally reinforced centre beam. Gas struts attach the frame to the bed body; their strength is individually selected to suit the bed width and mattress weight, helping you lift the mattress to access the storage compartment. A thick, securely fitted board forms the compartment base.
- 24 flexible slats made from layered, glued hardwood, each 53 mm wide
- 25 mm spacing between slats
- 40 × 30 mm metal profile with reinforced centre beam
- Frame height: approximately 55 mm
The close spacing between slats makes the frame suitable for different types of mattress. Choose this option for under-bed storage and the included metal lift-up frame.
Without Storage
The version without storage comes with a wooden bed frame. It does not include the STANDARD L53 metal lift-up frame or an under-bed storage compartment.
