Genius Murphy Bed with Desk 140 × 200 cm for Mattress

Genius Vertical Murphy Bed with Desk for a 140 × 200 cm Mattress

The Genius Murphy bed with integrated desk creates a daytime workspace and a sleeping area within one vertical wall-bed system. Designed for a 140 × 200 cm mattress, it combines gas-assisted opening and closing, internal shelves and LED lighting with remote control. Fold away the bed to make room for working, studying or everyday living.

Integrated Fold-Down Desk

This model includes a desk measuring 154 cm wide × 64 cm deep × 75 cm high, with a maximum load of 15 kg. It provides a dedicated surface for a home office, study area or hobbies while the bed is folded away. Operate the desk and bed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

White Gloss is not available with an integrated desk, either as standard or as an optional upgrade. For a White Gloss bed, choose the separate bed-only version and add a freestanding desk or desk shelving unit separately if needed.

Mattress Requirements

Choose a 140 × 200 cm mattress with a maximum height of 24 cm and a recommended weight of 25–32 kg, as specified in the Genius product guide. Check the dimensions, height and weight before selecting your mattress. Bedding straps help hold bedding in place when the bed is folded.

Plan Your Room

The cabinet measures 160 cm wide × 223 cm high × 50 cm deep. The 50 cm measurement is the cabinet depth, not the total depth with the desk in use. The desk surface is 64 cm deep. When unfolded, the bed extends 241 cm from the wall. Leave sufficient room for the opening movement and access around the furniture.

Minimum ceiling height: 228 cm. Leave at least 5 cm of clear space above the 223 cm-high cabinet so the bed can open and close freely.
