Genius Comfort Vertical Murphy Bed with Sofa – Congo, 140 × 200 cm
A sofa for relaxing during the day and a full-size sleeping space at night. The Genius Comfort vertical Murphy bed with sofa helps you make the most of a studio, compact bedroom or guest room. Designed for a 140 × 200 cm mattress, this model features a matching Congo cabinet and front, with gas-assisted opening and gravity-operated legs.
Coordinated Congo Finish
This model is available exclusively with a Congo cabinet and Congo front for a coordinated, single-colour finish.
Choose your sofa colour separately in the configurator. The sofa colour shown in the images is for illustrative purposes only.
The starting price includes the Murphy bed with sofa. The price is the same for 4 cm and 14 cm armrests. The movable upholstered panel, wardrobes and additional furniture are paid extras and are not included in the starting price.
Configure Your Furniture Set
In this configurator, you are purchasing a Murphy bed with sofa, designed for a 140 × 200 cm mattress. The bed cabinet and front are finished in Congo. Choose your sofa armrest width and sofa colour. You can also add the movable upholstered panel and select its colour, then choose additional Genius furniture to suit your room.
Choose Your Sofa Armrest Width
4 cm slim armrests: Any wardrobe or shelving unit from the Genius collection can be placed directly beside the Murphy bed.
14 cm wide armrests: Only an open shelving unit (GS-RP), a closed 45 cm 3D wardrobe (GS-SZ-3DP-Z-45), an open 45 cm 3D wardrobe (GS-SZ-3DP-O-45), or an LED shelving unit (GS-RE-LED) may be placed directly beside the Murphy bed. Other wardrobes and the shelving unit with a pull-out desktop must be positioned further along, beyond one of these compatible units. Placing them directly beside the bed will prevent their doors or pull-out desktop from opening.
Apply this layout rule on each side where you add furniture.
The Sofa
The sofa provides a place to sit and relax during the day. Choose slim 4 cm armrests for an overall sofa width of 157 cm, or wide 14 cm armrests for an overall sofa width of 177 cm. Both versions have a seat height of 49 cm, an overall height of 88 cm and a seat depth of 62 cm. These measurements refer to the sofa, not the Murphy bed cabinet.
Comfort for More Than Sleep
The sofa provides seating for everyday relaxation. For an additional soft backrest when using the bed, add the movable upholstered panel at an extra cost and select its colour in the configurator.
Practical Everyday Operation
The closed bed cabinet is 50 cm deep. This measurement applies to the bed cabinet only and does not include the sofa. Gas struts assist opening and closing, while the gravity-operated legs unfold automatically as the bed opens.
Minimum ceiling height: 228 cm. The bed is 223 cm high and requires an additional 5 cm of clearance above it for opening and closing. Check your ceiling height before ordering.
Genius Comfort has no integrated desk option.
